Cracknell has again been recognized by the Arabian Property Awards this year in its Commercial Landscape Architecture category, for its innovative and ambitious landscape design on the Sheraton Park project in Doha, Qatar. The design of the 7 hectare park centers around multiple water and sensory features including a tidal pool, an ‘air garden’ (a ‘cool’ thoroughfare of F&B outlets) and recreational lawns, which are integrated with an underground car park structure which provided an interesting challenge, both technically and from a sustainability standpoint, for the Cracknell design team led by Hani Bisada.
Additionally, another of Cracknell’s projects, Jeddah Municipality Flagpole (KSA) – the tallest flagpole in the world at 171m, has also won an Arabian Property Award for ‘Best Commercial Landscape Architecture’. The project, presented by Project Managers SAK, goes forward to the International Awards being presented in London later this year.
