    Marco is an Associate at Cracknell with 15 years’ international experience. He is a registered Architect with a strong background in landscape architecture of large scale mixed-use, urban design, masterplanning and hospitality projects. He has a key role in the design process through to construction with project experience throughout the MENA region and Europe.

    Marco is passionate about the creation of exceptional, resilient landscapes, focusing on sustainability and the user experience. His knowledge of the construction process and attention to details is the key to delivering extraordinary projects preserving the integrity of the concept design.

    Patrick Evangelista

    Patrick is an accomplished professional with a diverse background as an Architect,
    Engineer, and AutoCAD Designer. He has 20 years’ experience on contingency planning projects, technical designs, and field assessment across Asia and the
    Middle East. Knowledgeable of advanced architectural and engineering design
    principles, he is an experienced project development team leader.

    Marivic Gallardo

    Marivic is a registered Landscape Architect in the Philippines and a LEED AP with more than 25 years’ experience in a diverse scale of landscape developments. Her professional project experience encompasses hotel and resort planning, mixed-use, residential estates, public realm and waterfront design in the Philippines, India, China, and the Middle East.

    Marivic’s approach to landscape design focuses on site-specific processes and key project drivers, integrating culture, history, ecological processes, and economics within a project context to create bespoke landscape design that respects sense of place.

    Vera Biedermann

    Vera is the In-House Legal Counsel at Cracknell. She brings a unique set of skills to the team, having earned her UK accredited LLM International Business Law as a German lawyer. Her six years’ work experience in the UAE provide for a deep understanding of the local market and the unique legal challenges that businesses face in the region. With her pragmatic approach and appreciation for the needs of the business, Vera plays a crucial role in advising on a range of legal issues, ensuring that the company’s operations are conducted within the bounds of the law, as well as working on facilitating the company’s growth opportunities across the globe. She is passionate about applying her legal knowledge to help further an innovative workplace that creates a sustainable and livable environment.

    Sunitha Sudarsanan

    Sunitha has a total of 30 years’ experience, 25 of which have been with Cracknell. In addition to leading and supervising the CAD production team, Sunitha reviews,
    estimates, and inputs into delivery and resourcing schedules, in close collaboration with the design, technical & engineering teams. She monitors the quality control
    program to drive consistency in the deliverables ensuring full adherence with QA/QC
    standards.

    Sunitha takes immense pride and satisfaction in contributing to the integral role Cracknell’s projects play in the MENA region’s environmental infrastructure.

    Elizabeth John

    Elizabeth has 23 years’ experience as a landscape design professional in the Middle East and Asia. At Cracknell, she serves a vital role in developing design and implementation and maintenance strategies for projects across Cracknell’s global portfolio.

    She is a passionate advocate for sustainable soft landscapes and promotes the inclusion of native species along with locally available, adaptive plants. She believes in being mindful of plant selections and strategies and is instrumental in enriching biodiversity and shaping modern cities and urban spaces for future generations to thrive in.

    Rashid Faridi

    Rashid has 20 years’ experience in soft landscape construction and maintenance, and horticultural consultancy across India and the Middle East. He manages the client, lead consultant and contractor coordination during all construction stages. He designs planting schemes for high-end hotels, resorts and luxury villas as well as community and commercial developments.
    With a horticultural background he has immense knowledge of different species and plant availability, adaptability and health. He is an expert on maintenance of both interior and exterior soft landscapes with specialist knowledge of tree pruning and shaping and transplantation of mature specimens and other specialist technical horticulture.
    Rashid is a dedicated horticulturalist, believing strongly in the importance of soft landscape and his profession to preserve nature and save our environment for the future.

    Gem Alanes

    Gem has 20 years’ experience in architectural and landscape design and construction services across Asia and the Middle East. A founder and team leader of the Cracknell graphics team, Gem is also a key creative and design visionary at concept stage. With a keen eye for detail and a deep passion for his craft, Gem’s skilled hand drawings bring each landscape vision to life.

    With extensive knowledge of the latest computer aided visualisation techniques, he directs the graphics team on creating highly advanced and innovative, industry-leading models, fly-throughs and visualisations suitable for design review and marketing imagery for clients that is cutting-edge.

    Vinod George

    Vinod has extensive experience as a professional in the construction and design consultancy industries. As an Associate – Commercial Engineer at Cracknell he is involved in securing new work for a diverse range of projects across the globe.

    He possesses strong work-winning instincts combined with an aptitude for quantitative analysis and a comprehensive understanding of fee structures in the design consultancy industry. He has a keen eye for acquiring new quality work while maintaining robust growth with a consistent flow of new wins.

    By embracing the Cracknell ethos, he remains actively involved in winning new projects by overseeing the bidding process and managing the bid team.

    Samira Parkar

    Samira has 18 years’ experience in the field of Cost Management, Quantity Surveying and Contractual Administration for a broad range of landscape and infrastructure projects across the Middle East. She has worked in Pre & Post Tender Administration, Post Tender Stage & Post-Contract environments and is familiar with international forms of contract FIDIC and standard methods of measurements such as POMI and CESMM3.

    She has a sound knowledge of environmentally friendly technologies and stays abreast of the development of new and emerging landscape materials; she has a key role advising the design teams on cost effectiveness of design solutions, design efficiencies and environmental cost-benefit analysis.
